REGISTER NOW TO PARTICIPATE in the Heritage Hills NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM!
Registering with the Neighborhood watch program will allow Lone Tree Police Department (LTPD) to communicate with you regarding law enforcement activities and priorities for our neighborhood. You will be made aware of and be eligible to attend the participant training that will be provided by LTPD community liaison officers. Most importantly you will get to know your neighbors through regular block meetings which will provide a forum for participants to work together to address specific safety and crime reduction goals.
VOLUNTEER TO ACT AS A BLOCK CAPTAIN
The block captains will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Neighborhood Watch at the block level (10-15 homes). This involves administering the activities of Neighborhood Watch at this level; arranging and chairing meetings; two way communications between the participating families and LTPD; and encouraging and motivating participants to remain active and involved. (Acceptance as a block captain may be subject to passing a background check.)

Lone Tree Police Department (LTPD) and the Heritage Hills HOA are working together to establish Heritage Hills as a Certified Crime Free Neighborhood. This will serve to enhance the attractiveness of the community to potential residents and to further position Heritage Hills as one of the premier neighborhoods in the area. A key component of this certification is an active neighborhood watch program.
A Neighborhood Watch program is a group of people living in the same area who want to make their neighborhood safer by working together and in conjunction with local law enforcement to reduce crime and improve their quality of life. The Heritage Hills Neighborhood Watch is independent of but encouraged and supported by the HOA. It is managed and directed by LTPD. Neighborhood Watch is a citizen volunteer extension of local law enforcement, primarily focused on prevention, awareness, observation and reporting.
